Frequently Asked Questions
No. All purchases made from us are non-exclusive. This means that DCQ still owns the rights and we will still be able to license it to other artists.
Yes. Once the beat is purchased, you will receive the untagged files. So the MP3/WAV or the Tracked out WAV stems will be without the DCQBEATS voicetag.
I accept Paypal, major credit cards and bank-transfers. If you have a credit/debit-card or funds on your paypal-account, you can purchase beats through the paypal-shopping-cart on my sites.
I use samples in some of my beats. Most of them are royalty-free samples. This means that you don’t have to clear them before you use them on your album/mixtape. If you would like to know if a beat contains samples you can contact me anytime at info@dcqbeatz.com before you buy it.
You receive a tagged, lower quality mp3 to use for non profit only. Purchase a lease for higher quality beats without tags. Any beat publicly released without a lease will be removed.
“Trackouts” or tracked out audio files, aka “stems” are the separate audio files the make up a particular instrumental. For instance, the kick, snare, synth, piano, and so on are all separate audio files that comprise the instrumental. These are useful for high-end mixing projects where the engineer may need to customize the mix of the instrumental around your vocals. I highly suggest the Premium License for a top-notch mix.
If a beat is removed, its exclusive rights were earned, and it cannot be resold.
